Begin by getting onto US-101 S/Central Freeway and then merge onto I-80 E toward Bay Bridge/Oakland. Stay on I-80 E for about 185 miles, passing through several toll roads and taking note of possible closures at certain times or days.

When you reach Truckee, take exit 185 for CA-89 S toward Lake Tahoe. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto CA-89 S, passing by a 7-Eleven on your right after about 8.4 miles. Continue straight onto State Hwy 28 at the next traffic circle, and you'll arrive at your destination.

Kyte services San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from a handover spot near SFO, located at 500 John Daly Blvd, Daly City, CA 94014 (Daly City BART Station). To get there, use BART, which is located on the international G side, and take any train (local public transit fares apply).

Merge onto I-80 E toward Bay Bridge/Oakland, then take exit 8B for I-580 E toward Oakland/US-24. Continue onto I-580 E and merge onto CA-24 E toward Walnut Creek. Use the left lanes to take the I-680 N exit toward Sacramento/Concord, then continue onto I-680 N.

Keep right at the fork to continue on CA-242 N, following signs for Concord/Pittsburg/State Route 242. Merge onto CA-4 E toward Stockton/Pittsburg, then take exit 30 for CA-160 toward Sacramento/Rio Vista. Follow CA-160, crossing the Walnut Grove Bridge, and then turn onto River Rd.

Afterward, turn right onto Twin Cities Rd and merge onto I-5 N toward Sacramento. Take exit 522 to merge onto I-80 E toward Reno, then take exit 185 for CA-89 S toward Lake Tahoe. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto CA-89 S, and at the next traffic circle, continue straight onto State Hwy 28. You have now reached your destination.
